RECREATION POOLS AND PONDS

Eutrophication is the disturbing increase in the presence of phytoplankton in any large water ecosystem (natural or artificial lakes), such as a lake, as a result of a large increase in nutrients for various reasons. This situation results in a decrease in the dissolved oxygen level in the aquatic ecosystem and a change in the living profile. It also prevents the receiving environment from serving recreational purposes by having a bad appearance (a green lake) and smell (mostly the smell of rotten eggs).
